New Beginnings
In North wing, lower level. Facilitator: Tom Ashby
In these bustling days, how refreshing and enlightening it can be to spend a short hour in group study of how the Bible relates to situations of our lives! This hour can help jump start the other 167 hours in your week. Each session of the class is self-contained. This benefits those who can only attend once in a while. Sometimes we study a book of the Bible, such as Ephesians with its reminders of the unity of diverse people seeking to follow Christ and of the "armor" God provides for daily living. Sometimes we study a theme, such as patience, matching experts' secular writings with Scripture. No previous Bible knowledge is needed. Group discussion occurs, and so does some one-on-one conversation that gets us better acquainted.
New Media
In North wing, lower level. Facilitators: Jim & Nancy Phillips
Do you like to watch videos and DVDs? Do you enjoy sharing, laughing and socializing with others? Then this is the class for you! Using electronic media (VHS and DVD) to provide a focal point for discussion, we enter into lively and challenging examinations of various social or spiritual topics as they relate to our own lives in a spiritual context. Come and join us for open-minded discussion (and we like to laugh, too!)
Short Term Classes
From time to time, short-term classes are offered to explore a variety of biblical topics.
