Missions
Mission work is vital; vital to the ministry of the church.
At Rockbrook we strive to be a church that is in constant risk-taking mission work.
We believe there are hearers, givers, singers, teachers, learners, and those who live righteously - but we are ALL DOERS!!! God calls us to go and do something.
The church in mission is a vibrant, fruitful, growing church, and practice risk-taking mission and service because of their love for God, and others. “Failure to practice risk-taking mission and service, in some form, results in the deterioration of a church’s vitality” - Bishop Robert Schnase. We reach out in MISSION... We want our faith to be in action: by bringing God's love to all, freeing those who are captive, and healing the hurting (Luke 4:14-20).
At Rockbrook, we offer a variety of hands-on mission projects for the entire family:

John Wesley saw the work of the church as a vital and necessary response to our belief in Christ. Mission - serving others is, and has always been, an important ministry in the life of
United Methodism and Rockbrook.
